These guys know a thing or two about excellent service and hospitality, and that goes before mentioning the amazing food we had… the floor manager Chad and our service team made sure our birthday celebration for a friend went smoothly and we had an unforgettable first experience - we will be back! The pasta dishes were great, but the lamb we had was the star!
Went with my sister and girlfriends for a well needed girls night. We were well taken care of by Anthony, our server, and shout out to Dan! The food was sensational, cooked to perfection, and brought out at the perfect timing. The dessert is truly where it is at. Olive cake, brownie, must haves. Truthfully anything you pick will be an experience to share and have. Highly recommended and excited to go back!
Is a very nice restaurant with very good Italian food and fresh ingredients. The music they play suits the place. The servers name was michael. He gave an interactive experience. If you would like any wine or alcoholic drinks you have to bring your own.
La Lupa is a new-found gem in the area It is a high end italian steakhouse that offers premium cuts of steak and premium Italian dishes with ingredients imported from Italy, Every dish they have is great go experience it for yourself, its BYOB, its a nice dark setting and a overall great vibe!
One of the best restaurants I’ve tried, and definitely my favorite local one in Central Jersey! Mike is always a great waiter. Never had a dish I didn’t like. Must try dishes are the Tuscan chicken, steak tartare if available, carbonara, any of the pizzas, Kansas City, Skirt steak is a close 2nd steak. Used to eating in NYC and North Jersey scene and this my favorite Italian restaurant. Intimate atmosphere, BYOB is a plus! Food and service are unmatched! Regular customer.
Smaller than I expected on the inside but a great vibe and they operate well even with the tighter space. We did the Pizza bar seats because we wanted to come 15 minutes earlier than our reservation. Only waited about 10-15 minutes for the couple before us but we were greeted by the host and he opened our bottle while we waited and walked us through the menu. Very nice guy, forget his name, but can tell he’s passionate about it. Food was excellent and was very satisfied. 11/10. Gnocchi, wagyu skirt, brussel sprouts, diavola pizza, cookie and gelato. A lot of the favorites and can see why. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall service was some of the best I’ve seen in recent memory. Cool story behind it as well being local friends and creating a dope restaurant. Tipsy Critic further confirmed my expectations before coming and we drove an hour from central Jersey. Will definitely be back!
Dinner at La Lupa was great! Our server, Brian, was very accommodating and helpful. For appetizers, we ordered the supplì, and split the Lupa pizza. For our main meal, we ordered the rigatoni carbonara and the bucatini amatricana. For a side, we got the cacio e pepe potatoes. We were too full for dessert, but we did end of with coffee. Highly recommend La Lupa. Definitely make a reservation. Can't wait to go back!
The good, the bad, and the ugly. In reverse order, the UGLY... its a little too dark. The BAD... a little loud and small. Now for all of the GOOD! The treatment and hospitality is bar non one of the best! Brian was my waiter and he definitely knew what he was doing and talking about. Offering his recommendations being patient and great attitude. Speaking of attitude it seemed like the whole staff liked their job and everyone was working so well together. They must treat theyre employees realy good there. The food was better than expected for such a small place. The pizzas flavors really came out in the tomatoes where you can taste the garden fresh flavors flowed by the taste of the dough that were both imported from Italy. The spicy rigatoni pasta was a perfect level of spice and made we wanting more the next day. The skirt steak was cooked to my liking but what made it better was the searing on the outside. And the biscotti icecream is something that should be world wide headlines cause it was a crazy combination that works and I might just order that during this upcoming summer. A must go spot for any occasion and I will be returning to try more of their seasonal dishes and to make sure I have a friend to help me eat the porterhouse steak!
My wife & I waited 3 months to get a reservation here and it was absolutely worth the wait. La Lupa delivers a strong punch from the first bite to the last. Our server Brian was outstanding, he was very passionate about their menu and gave us high praise for our choices. 10/10 no notes, best meal in Freehold area? No. Best meal in Jersey? My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday dinner, and from the moment we walked in, everything was incredible. Chad greeted us right away and, even though our wait was less than 15 minutes, he went above and beyond bringing us prosciutto and parmesan and even opening our wine so we could enjoy it while we waited. Such a thoughtful gesture, and something we have literally never experienced before! Once seated, we were taken care of by Bryan, who was absolutely amazing to say the least. He gave us the best recommendations from appetizers (the gnocchi) to pasta (carbonara/bucatini) and was so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire meal. Honestly, all of the staff were wonderful it truly felt like an all hands on deck kind of place where everyone works together to create a great experience. The atmosphere, food, service, and overall vibe were just outstanding. To top it all off, Chad and Bryan surprised my boyfriend with biscoff ice cream for his birthday, which was such a sweet touch. And the food was insane. I was completely blown away. I’m not usually a steak person, but I devoured it, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. We will definitely be back!
